Rubicon typically works with family offices and private joint venture partners. Depending on the type of asset, we've invested in projects with both long term hold metrics as well as value add metrics. Typical deal sizes are from $10 million to $100 million of total capital.
Rubicon's two principals have developed and/or renovated 36 projects containing approximately 4 million square feet over their careers in the Sacramento area, with 50% of the work completed under Rubicon Partners Inc. We focus on best of class buildings as illustrated by our ownership in 555 Capitol Mall, 400 Capitol Mall and our development of many of the regions most desirable class A office buildings.
Rubicon currently has over 2 million square feet under management. Over the years, the principals have overseen the management of over 6 million square feet of property, with a focus on class A office buildings and some apartment buildings. We are a vertically integrated firm, with long term employees that all have an owner's perspective. The goal is always to weigh customer needs with investor returns.
